According to his lawyer Wapona Kita soon after he was released from Chichiri Prison about 30 police officers stormed Kasambara's residence to re-arrest him.
Re-arrested
"As we were relaxing at Ralph's home, over 30 police officers came to re-arrest him, saying procedures were not followed for his release.We are following up the motorcade to see where they are heading to, and for what purposes" wrote Kita on his facebbok page.
According to local Media houses Police in Blantyre have confirmed the development that he has since been sent back to prison.
However six other colleagues who were arrested alongside Kasambara are still free.
Kasambara was arrested on Monday and charged with assault after his guards beat up two suspected thugs who are alleged to have been sent by government to petrol bomb his office.
